Power Forward Parking Information

It’s time for the sixth event in the Power Forward Speaker Series, presented by First Commerce Credit Union, and we are ready for Tallahassee’s largest annual business event!
As you know, this year’s event features Kevin O'Leary aka "Mr. Wonderful" from "Shark Tank." Kevin has gained fame as a co-host for 10 years on the business reality show “Shark Tank,” making deals with aspiring entrepreneurs — and crushing the dreams of others with his no-nonsense, straight-shooting style. O’Leary is an exceedingly successful entrepreneur himself and carries some of his financial savvy into the world of personal finance and relationships in his three “Cold Hard Facts” books, as well as a new podcast, “Ask Mr. Wonderful.”
 
Power Forward with Kevin O'Leary is set for Wednesday, Feb. 6, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall, 222 S. Copeland St. Doors will open 1 hour in advance at 2:30 p.m., and you will need your event ticket for admission. If you have not received your ticket or have misplaced it, please contact the FSU Fine Arts Ticket Office. Please arrive on time. To minimize the disruption to our speaker and audience, the doors will close when the program begins at 3:30 p.m. Late arrivals will be accommodated by escorting them to seats that minimize the disruption to the program.
 
EVENT PARKING
This event is close to selling out, with more than 1,100 expected to attend. Parking on FSU’s campus is limited, so please carpool as much as possible and allow plenty of time to find a place to park. All parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. General parking is available in the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center lot at the main entrance on Pensacola Street and at the Railroad Ave. lot (south of the Civic Center). Show your ticket for free admission. Trolleys will be available for rides to Ruby Diamond Concert Hall from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. but space is limited. It is a comfortable walk and it looks to be a beautiful day. If needed, you can catch the trolley at the FSU Turnbull Conference Center (555 W. Pensacola St.) in the circle drive located at the main entrance on Pensacola St. Look for the “trolley pick-up” signs. Return trolley service will be available after the event from 5 to 5:30 p.m.
 
QUESTION-AND-ANSWER SESSION
Questions may be submitted to @FirstCommerceCU via Twitter before and during the event using our event hashtag #PwrFwd. Question cards will also be distributed and collected onsite at the beginning of the event. We will cover as many questions as possible in the time allotted for the Q&A moderated by Mark Wilson, President and CEO of the Florida Chamber, toward the end of the event.

ADDITIONAL TICKETS
Less than 40 tickets remain available on the main level of Ruby Diamond! Additional tickets may be purchased at tickets.fsu.edu until 1:30 p.m. on the day of the event ($40* base price for main level seating and $30* base price for balcony seating; student tickets sold out). Tickets also will be sold at the FSU Fine Arts Ticket Office (in the lobby of the Fine Arts Building at 540 W. Call St.) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and then at the door at Ruby Diamond starting at 2:30 p.m.
