Cascades Park came alive with cinematic magic and community spirit on Nov. 7, 2025, as thousands gathered to celebrate First Commerce Credit Union’s 85th anniversary in unforgettable style.

The Adderley Amphitheater was absolutely rocking as the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra brought the house down with electrifying renditions of popular music from Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Superman, Jaws, and more.

From the moment the gates opened, it was clear this wasn’t just a concert — it was a celebration of legacy, imagination, and connection. The evening kicked off with the debut of First Commerce’s 85th anniversary video, a moving tribute featuring real stories from our members and team. These heartfelt moments reminded us why we do what we do and how far we’ve come together.

In a playful nod to beloved film franchises, the event transformed Cascades Park into a scene fitting for the movies:

• Animatronic dinosaurs roamed the grounds, thrilling guests of all ages and paying homage to Jurassic Park.
• Blue and yellow glow sticks waved through the crowd, creating a dazzling lightsaber effect that lit up the night in true Star Wars fashion.
• Concertgoers in costume brought their favorite characters to life, adding a layer of fun and fandom to the festivities.
• Sammy Squirrel, our very own First Commerce mascot, made special appearances, delighting attendees and posing for photos.

Throughout the night, we heard from attendees who were moved by the energy, creativity, and sense of community. The event reflected everything First Commerce stands for: Empowering Generations and Transforming Communities.
