First Commerce and Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra to Bring a Night of Iconic Film Scores to Life

Tallahassee, Fla. — First Commerce Credit Union is celebrating 85 years of serving the community with an unforgettable evening of cinematic magic. In partnership with Leon County and Scott Carswell Presents, First Commerce will present The John Williams Cinematic Celebration. This live concert experience features the legendary film scores that have captivated generations.

The event will take place on Friday, November 7, at the Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park, with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra performing popular music from Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Superman, Jaws and more.

“We want to share the excitement of our 85th anniversary with the communities we serve, as part of our mission to Empower Generations and Transform Communities,” said First Commerce CEO Cecilia Homison. “What better way to show our appreciation than a musical celebration that will bring generations together.”

It also means supporting the communities that First Commerce has called home for 85 years and fostering a sense of local pride through initiatives like the credit union’s long-standing partnership with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra.

Under the direction of TSO Music Director and Conductor Yaniv Dinur, the evening promises a stunning blend of nostalgia and awe. Families, film lovers, and music enthusiasts are encouraged to come in costume as their favorite characters and enjoy the magic of live music under the stars.

Tickets go on sale Friday, August 8 and start at just $32, available for purchase at TheAdderleyAmphitheater.com. Food trucks and beverage stations will be available throughout the park, making it a full evening of entertainment for all ages.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. with the Orchestra slated to begin playing at 7:30 p.m. Cascades Park will be alive with pre-show fun and activities that the whole family can enjoy.
