New Security Option Coming September 24 to the FCCU Mobile App
Starting September 24, FCCU members will have a new way to log in securely with the FCCU Mobile App. This feature uses push notifications to confirm your identity, giving you convenience and stronger protection.
Here’s how it works:
- The first time you log in after September 24, you’ll be asked if you want to allow push notifications.
- If you enable push notifications, you’ll start receiving a login approval message directly on your phone.
- Simply tap “Yes, it’s me” to login, or tap “No” to deny access if the attempt isn’t yours.
- If you’d rather keep using text or email codes, those options remain available.
- You can manage your login preferences anytime in the app.
Why this matters:
- Faster logins: no more waiting for a text or typing in a code.
- Stronger security: even if someone knows your password, they can’t log in without your approval.
- Peace of mind: you’ll instantly know if someone is trying to access your account.
