Fireworks, backyard cookouts and a summer night to remember are all part of the July 4th tradition. This year, that tradition celebrates a major milestone: America’s 250th anniversary. Tallahassee

Take in the impressive fireworks display at the City of Tallahassee’s Celebrate America event, chock full of activities and live music headlined by the amazing Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra.

You can also head to the SouthWood community’s Star, Spangled, Southwood celebration and take in the fireworks, enjoy food trucks, a parade, activities and local vendors.

Marianna

Sponsored by First Commerce Credit Union! America’s 250th Independence Day Celebration in Marianna will feature craft vendors, face painting and bounce houses, live music, and food trucks. And, of course, fireworks!

Bay County

Mexico Beach is gearing up to light up the skies with its Best Blast on the Beach celebration! Meanwhile, Panama City Beach will be hosting what it calls the largest display of fireworks on the Gulf Coast at its Real. Fun. Fourth. event.

Wakulla County

Sopchoppy’s 4th of July Celebration will bring together vendors, exciting live music, delicious food and fireworks at Myron B. Hodge City Park – what more could you ask for?

In Historic St. Marks, you can also enjoy the Fireworks Over the River event, featuring a community market, food, fun and fireworks.

Thomasville

Bring the family and enjoy Independence Day Fireworks at Remington Park! Enjoy food and fun, live music, a drone light show, and breathtaking fireworks.

Valdosta

The Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks & Recreation Authority is hosting what it calls South Georgia’s largest fireworks show with its annual Fireworks Spectacular. Before that, on July 2, Lowndes County officials are also unveiling a time capsule buried in 1976 by Valdosta community members during a celebration of America’s Bicentennial.

Wild Adventures Theme Park will also be hosting its Celebrate America fireworks show, which the park says will be choreographed to a patriotic musical soundtrack.

Adel

The City of Adel is hosting its 250th Community Festival & Fireworks, featuring activities and fun for the kids, food and local vendors, and an unforgettable fireworks display.

Nashville

Gather for the Fireworks, Food & Friends Celebration organized by the Nashville Fire Department. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy food from local vendors, activities and a spectacular fireworks display.
