Yes, self-directed investing is available as part of our upgraded Digital Banking experience.

No. Members can invest directly through First Commerce Digital Banking. Investments can be purchased using funds from your personal checking account, savings account, or money market account.

First Commerce has partnered with InvestiFi to integrate digital investing directly into Digital Banking, allowing eligible members to access investing without transferring funds to another app.

Members can invest in:

  • Stocks

  • ETFs

  • Cryptocurrency

*Subject to eligibility and regulatory requirements.

First Commerce Credit Union members can use funds from their personal checking account, savings account, or money market account to invest through the app. Please note, you must be the primary account holder on each of the listed account types to use the investment feature.

The investment feature is available only to members with an eligible individual account who are at least 18 years of age. Business accounts, trust accounts, and other non-personal account types cannot be used to fund purchases using the investment tool in the First Commerce Credit Union app.

Yes, but your ability to fund purchases using the investment tool depends on your role on the account.

  • Primary account holders can access and use the investment feature.

  • Secondary account holders (joint owners) are not currently able to use the investment feature through that joint account.

To invest through the app, secondary account holders can:

  • Open their own primary share savings or checking account, or

  • Transfer funds from the joint checking account to an existing primary share savings account in their name.

If you’re a secondary account holder, you’ll need an eligible account type to use the investment feature. You can:

  • Open a primary share savings or checking account with First Commerce, or

  • Transfer funds from your joint account to an existing primary share savings account in your name.

Once you have an eligible account type, you’ll be able to access the investment feature through the First Commerce Credit Union app.
