Be Prepared

If a storm is moving toward your area, consider these helpful tips and resources to help ensure you can weather the storm and have access to your accounts when you need to.
  • Use FCCU’s new Cardless ATMs to get access to your money 24/7. With this new service, you can complete any transaction you normally could in digital banking, whether you have a debit card or not. You can deposit checks and/or cash, transfer funds between FCCU accounts and make loan or credit card payments.

  • Enroll in FCCU digital banking so you can access your accounts anywhere you have an internet connection. Download the mobile app to access your account from your smartphone.

  • If you need assistance with your banking needs, our virtual assistant Penny is available 24/7 to answer common questions such as account balances, FCCU routing number and much more. To access your account information with Penny, you will need to know your Member Number. This number is also referred to as your Account Number. Learn more here.
For FCCU members, keep your contact information on file and up-to-date with us so that we can reach you if needed. Here are a few tips to help you stay prepared financially before and after a storm.
  • Long before a storm or hurricane forms, we recommend you start building your savings with potential emergencies in mind. The Federal Emergency Management Agency urges people to set up an emergency savings account. Small, incremental contributions to an emergency savings account can add up over time.

  • Keep a small amount of cash in a safe and secure spot in your home — a place where you will remember to look to grab it — in case you need to access it quickly before a hurricane that could bring flooding or prolonged power outages.
