Who Can Join First Commerce Credit Union?

There are several ways to become a member of First Commerce Credit Union. You may be eligible based on where you live or work in North Florida or South Georgia, through an immediate family member, through a participating employer, as a Six Pillars Financial Advisors client, or by joining the FCCU Foundation.

You can join if you live or work in one of First Commerce Credit Union’s eligible counties across North Florida and South Georgia.

Which counties in North Florida are eligible for membership?

You’re eligible if you live or work in one of these counties in North Florida: Baker, Bay, Calhoun, Columbia, Dixie, Franklin, Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Suwannee, Taylor, Wakulla, Walton, and Washington counties.

Which counties in South Georgia are eligible for membership?

You’re eligible if you live or work in one of these counties in South Georgia: Atkinson, Ben Hill, Berrien, Brooks, Clinch, Coffee, Colquitt, Cook, Decatur, Echols, Grady, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Mitchell, Thomas, Tift,  and Worth counties.

Who are the participating employers or organizations?

Employees of the following participating organizations are eligible: American Postal Workers Union, American Institute of Architects, Florida Pharmacy Association, The Florida Bar, Florida League of Cities, Florida Optometric Association, Florida National Guard, Florida Engineering Society, Six Pillars Financial Advisors, FCCU Foundation, Inc., and Goodwill Industries – Big Bend, Inc. 

Can my employer offer First Commerce membership?

Potentially. If your business or organization isn’t already listed and isn't located within an eligible county, contact First Commerce about offering credit union membership to employees. Include your name, organization name and telephone number, and use “SEG Inquiry” in the subject line.

Can I become a member through the FCCU Foundation?

Yes. Anyone who joins the FCCU Foundation by making a minimum $15 contribution is eligible for membership in First Commerce Credit Union. The contribution is a one-time unrestricted gift to the Foundation.
